I love Starbuck’s fall menu. I thought I was a Pumpkin Spice latte fan. I was anxiously awaiting the September 6 start date.
I took my daughters to Barnes and Noble to browse (have coffee) and look for a book for school (have coffee).
On the way in the store, my phone flew out of my hand. It was so weird. I didn’t trip or anything. Just boop and my phone was on the pavement.
I thought it was fine until I went to take pictures:

Whatever happened when I dropped it worked itself out later that night, so I can once again take pictures of Chewie the Depressed Chihuahua.
As I was saying earlier, the Pumpkin Spice latte was not as good as I remembered. Perhaps the barista was having an off day.
What was amazing was the Salted Caramel latte. That’s my new favorite!

I love me a caramel macchiatto. But the salted caramel latte sounds incredible!
My barista corrected me and says it’s a salted caramel MOCHA, but it is still awesome.
Chocolate makes it even better.

I’m an espresso lover.
I haven’t had an espresso in a while. I always think it will make me jittery, which is silly, since it’s the basis of almost all the coffee drinks.
My usual, an iced coffee.
I just saw the Pioneer Woman’s recipe for iced coffee and was thinking of trying that.
It’s still hot enough here so that it would be good in the morning.

Take the lid off to drink it, Shirin. That way you get the salt and the caramel and the mocha a little in each sip.

Vanilla Latte is my go-to drink. I do like the seasonal Peppermint Mocha! If I win, this may be the year I try a Pumpkin Spice Latte… can you believe I have never tried one?

You know me…I’m normally a coffee snob and prefer to have my coffee handmade by my own personal 6’4″, muscle-y, handsome as all get out, knows my wants and NEEDS (even in real life)for my morning coffee barista whose name I get to share but you have me tempted with that line – “Salted Caramel Mocha”. Egads. I will have to try that one. If nothing else – to tell the aforementioned in home barista a new want in my coffee list. 🙂
