I was inspired by Chloe of the Mountain’s weekly post called “Man Candy Monday“. I started to think about who is Nota Supermom’s Man Candy.
First and foremost:

Mr. Clean |
Ladies, he cleans. What else do you need?
Except perhaps:

Alton Brown |
Cooking. I bet he does dishes too.
If there were a guy who did laundry, I’d put him on the list. I think Snuggle bear is a girl.
Still, I’m pretty impressed. They can get a bear to make laundry snuggle-y soft and I can’t get a grown teenager to turn his dirty socks right-side out.
I thought about the guy from the old 70’s Calgon commercial, the “Ancient Chinese Secret” guy, but it looks like his wife is the one who does the laundry.
More Men Who Clean:
Brawny Paper Towel Dude, classically macho or contemporary and metrosexual.
You could let them fight it out for your affections, but smart money is on the one with the mustache.
I have a little buried treasure for you today. I won $100 Lands’ End card, of the gift variety and I’m going to give it away to a reader.
Rules:
To enter, leave a comment on this thread telling me which of the Men of Nota Supermom is your favorite, one of mine or nominate your own.

Thanks and good luck. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog.
I was not compensated in any way for this and I am not affiliated with Lands’ End.
This giveaway is now closed and the winner is announced here.

Throw-in Curtis Stone to cook and Jensen Eckles to just look at and I totally concur! 🙂
Alton. Alton talks power tools to me and makes me care about the motor in my blender. Also, how do you not love a man with flames on his Kitchenaid? Plus, he makes coffee, and crepes, and isn't gourmet to appreciate French toast.

Wow, first comment!
I had no idea they had a new Brawny guy out there…my vote is for the one with the mustache! Please consider me entered!

Rats, your faithful followers beat me to the punch! I'm going out to move the hose and think up somebody else to add to your list…

Mr. Clean, for sure. I don't mind cooking and laundry myself, but could live without having to clean. Maybe Mr. Clean could do yardwork as well?
ourmothershipadventures@gmail.com
Well, for Eye Candy it's Brawny man, but for who I'd rather have around my house? Alton. As you said, he cooks!
I can't believe there is a new Brawny man. Of course, I'm mostly herding five kids through the store, making sure they don't bump into others, the store displays, or each other. Who has time to look at packages?
I'm going with Mr. Clean.
I would like to nominate one of those hot carpenter guys from the home improvement shows. Quite handy, they are.
Hmm… I think I'd have to go with Mr. Clean, because, like you said, he cleans. I can't complain with that!
atlantagalknows -at- gmail.com
Even though I'm married to a Chinese guy who never uses Calgon, but who does do laundry, change diapers and tries to clean, I'm liking (good grief, I typed "licking"- hello, Freud) the new Brawny guy.
I love Alton, but I gotta say, after perusing his recipes, that Guy Fieri has found a place in my cookbook, too. Have you ever made Alton Brown's Chocolate Mousse? There's coffee in it. So very yummy!
Texanna/Briar Rose
Mr Clean! He cleans. what more is there?
They totally ruined the Brawny Man. I loved when he used to have that interactive website where you could go and he'd tell you that your new haircut was beautiful. I still miss him.
Ty Pennington from Extreme Home Makeover is my nominee! ooooh la la! Handy and sexy!!
I was going to go with Alton because food can be sexy, but in the end, I think Mr. Clean's beefy biceps are winning out.
I think I have to go with Mr. Clean. I don't mind cooking, but cleaning … not so much. 🙂
Ok — still cracking up over Lorri's comment! Breathe………
I know I don't qualify cause I don't live in the US anymore (but Lands End does send to Canada) – I still would like to throw in my two cents worth.
I will have to go with Alton Brown. He is adorable! He can come brine a turkey for me anytime! And I bet he is one hec of a conversationalist too!
Definitely Alton Brown. I'm obsessed with cooking so to have a man that can do it better than me, and give me interesting tidbits about the dishhe's making is total nirvana for me lol
Oh yeah, my twitter name is @4hatsandfrugal 🙂
I say Mr Clean….. I like his new blue stuff…. he could get rid of the earring and that would be ok with me though.
This is an entry for Heather Sommer, a facebook friend who had trouble commenting.
I'd have to go for Mr.Clean…although Alton is humorous AND a fabulous cook I like to do those 2 things myself 🙂 But if Mr. Clean could come a couple times of week and do my floors….I'd be in heaven!
Thanks for following me!! I'm following you now too!
Mr Clean. He has dreamy blue eyes just like my husband. And he's so sparkly!!! WAIT A MINUTE! Is he a vampire???
Mr. Clean! Not only because bald guys are awesomely hot, but this one cleans, too! :o)
Cheryl @ http://saywhatmemoirs.blogspot.com/
Hmmm… I guess it's going to have to be Mr. Clean.
DUH!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???
IT'S THE OLD SPICE GUY!!!
I'm on a horse: HYAH!!!!!
Mr. Clean for sure. I used to have an imaginary friend that looked just like him. Though he tore the wallpaper off my walls so he wasn't very helpful.
hmmm…I would love Alton to cook for me. But I like cooking WAY more than cleaning, so I'd have to go w/Mr. Clean.
-Liesl
What? No one nominated Mr. Bubble? He's almost as cute as the Snuggle bear.
Or the Ty-D-Bol man? There's an ugly job.
Alton…DEFINITELY Alton! Alton Brown RULES!!!!
🙂
My favorite is Mr. Clean 🙂 *Thanks* for the giveaway!
theluckyladybug[at]gmail[dot]com
The Quaker Oats guy? Our mornings would be so incomplete without him. Except that I use Aldi brand. And have their Steel Cut oats.
Susan– YES! the Old Spice Guy… but if we veer from cleaning products into the world of personal care and fragrances, then the man candy knows no end.
Chloe- I miss that interactive site too. I'd forgotten about it til you mentioned it.
So funny!! We were just talking about Mr. Clean last night! Totally told our pastor he just needed a gold earring and he'd look just like him. Since it'd be weird if I said Mr. Clean I think I'd have to say the new Mr. Brawny……yeah he's metro but I'm not digging the stache on the old Mr. Brawny….
Ok, I love Lands End, and I want to win something! As for Man Candy, Ricky Martin in "She Bangs". Nuf said!
Kristy, that's just so wrong. On every level. Wrong.
Mr. Clean. He's somethin'!
I would switch Alton Brown for Tyler Florence, though. yeah baby!
But, really – you can't beat Mr. Clean for serious Man Candy.
ok…must nominate Kevin O'Conner from This Old House. First he has that cute red hair and that perky little disposition….like he is ALWAYS happy and never griping about stuff that I broke around the house. And secondly, he always has other guy-friends around to help him do the things he doesn't know how to do by himself! Every girl knows that is a fantasy!
Love Alton Brown!!
Thanks so much for stopping by The House on the Corner ~ I'm following you back!
I would have to go with Mr. Clean. Not much into balds guys but that eraser can remove anything!!
Love this post! And my #1 man is Mr. Clean. As you said – he cleans!!!
Mr. Clean
I'm goin' with Mr. Clean 🙂

(it won't let me open my google account…)
I am going to have to go all "good wife" on you and say my favorite cleaning man is my husband. The man not only cleans, he CLEANS.
(Take my advice, those of you who are yet single: find yourself a Navy man!)
Macho Brawny man was a very close second only because he looks like he is thrilled to help out. My hubby….. Not so much.
~tanyarejoyce
Mr. Clean, hands down. I mean, seriously. The guy can give a slight nod and the house is all sparkly. What's not to love about that??
Of course, I always thought Yul Brenner was kinda cute, too.
(Lone Star) Kristy
For the record, "Snuggles" is a boy. When I was a child I had a cassette tape and book that went together of him and his voice was distinctly boyish. I still have the bear too. My kids love him.
well, being the rebel I am, I think Captain Jack Sparrow would be the guy to have around. Endless rum and adventures on the Black Pearl. That would get me out of the house and away from housework!
Yo ho ho and a bottle of Mr. Clean????
Lizzytish, Elizabeth Kuhlken on FB!
I like Roco the cooking guy. I hate to cook.
zoorho
I'll go for Mr. Clean. 🙂
And, BTW, I think the new Mr. Brawny looks a lot like MetroMan, the "good guy" in Megamind, who winds up not doing anything except making himself look good.
My favorite guy is Papa Gino. He sure does save me by feeding my kids a good meal now and then! 😀
Mr. Clean. He manages to clean the bathroom without spilling anything on his sparkling white shirt. I'm in awe.
Alton Brown! Geeky intelligence… wicked sense of humor… knows how to cook (and probably fix the toaster)… AND rides a motorcycle?! Puh-leeze. No contest there.
Pick me, pick me, pick me… I wanna win this time!
We're friends on fb, or you can reach me at blackinkpad@yahoo.com
Hm…. Chloe has a point today, I think her Monday Man could be your Home Man.
Hmmm…..Alton Brown would be my choice of the people you listed. But I think Bobby Flay would be a little better. I hate to cook, but loved grilled and spicy food. I don't mind cleaning so much.
Terri
I didn't check all the comments…did Mr. Whipple get nominated?!
Ah, forgot to sign anonymous' name…and that he was my nomination…
fern
How about one that cooks like Alton Brown but looks like Johnny Depp? That would be a dream man.
Thx for the giveaway!

Wow, we need more cleaning men in advertisements! Procter & Gamble, are you listening? You could have the Swiffer guy, Tide stain advice man, and let us not forget Mr. Whipple with the Charmin. My vote is for anyone who cleans or cooks, too much of my time is taken with these chores. Although my husband does the laundry, he did ask me today what the cold, warm and hot settings were for. Um, you've been doing the laundry for seven years and you are just asking me this? No wonder nothing fits anymore!
I vote for Mr. Clean, he seems to know what he is doing.

I nominate the housekeeping version of Alton Brown, wherever he is. AB is great entertainment, highly creative and keeps my attention.
I follow you on Facebook.
Audrey Young
I thought the Facebook comment would make it here, but just to be sure I'm entered in the drawing…. I'll take anyone who can clean, so I guess Mr. Clean wins.
–Sarah (from Facebook – initials S C)
Alton Brown. He made my boys interested in cooking!
