I’m out of town today visiting family in Tennessee. We have a lot going on–visiting my son who’s been working here all summer, rejoicing at the end of my Dad’s cancer treatment (second cancer this year), and celebrating the fourth birthday of my third niece, G3.
Special times call for specialty paper. Think about how often paper is involved in our celebrations: birth certificates and announcements, wedding certificates and invitations, diplomas and thank-you notes, birthdays and party invitations.
I love my precious little G3, and her sisters, G1, G2, and G4. They are all under seven and fully in love with dressing like princesses and pretending they are riding unicorn pegasuses. Pegasi? Whatever.
As much as I hate to give up summer, it’s time to plan for all fall events. I have three of my own kids’ birthdays coming up sooner than I like to think about. If you need any fall invitations, check out PaperDirect.
If I were hosting a party for my lady-friends to come over and eat chocolate, drink fruity drinks, and braid each others hair (you know, lady stuff), I would pick this pretty yet casual fall poppies invitation. (I had to MacGyver this by taking a picture and mailing to myself. It looks much better on the PaperDirect website.)
I like how you can choose from several printing options, from self-printing to professional printing shipped to you. That way you can go fancy or save money, as you need. Also, it helps if you are planning something last minute. Because that totally happens.
Do you have any special fall events in store?
No, left. Pretty sure.

Your kid looks just like you. No. Yes. No. Yes.
You’re not orange anymore, are you?
Not since my spray tan wore off!
