I received a two-week sample of Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus at my Ulta store. They have a new Clinique counter there staffed by a consultant. The consultant at my store was very helpful and knowledgeable about the science behind their anti-aging products, or “de-aging” products, as Clinique calls them.
After using up the first sample, I was able to take in the empty bottle and receive a second free sample. This was an offer open to any customer.
Clinique claims Repairwear Laser Focus smooths, restores, and corrects, with “63% of the visible wrinkle improvement of a dermatological laser procedure at 12 weeks.”
The Repairwear Laser Focus is a skin care product that worked great for me. It’s a light serum that is applied to clean skin morning and night. I put an SPF product and makeup over it in the morning with no problem.
I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I spot tested the product the first night. My skin was slightly tingly, but not very much. I didn’t have any problem with redness, itchiness, or any other symptom beyond a little tingle the first night or two I applied the product.
It only took a few drops to cover my face, including under my eyes. I used a little more to cover my neck and décolletage. I don’t want a young face and an old neck!
Products with strong odors bother me. I did not notice any particular smell from this serum when it was on my face.
I used Clinique’s Repairwear Laser Focus for more than a month. I thought it made my skin silkier after even the first use. After a month, my skin feels softer, looks smoother (around my eyes especially), and appears more even in tone. I did not notice any reduction in pore size, nor did I notice any lightening of any dark patches on my face.
To buy this at Ulta, Sephora, or a Clinique counter in a mall, the current price seems to be $47.50. That’s pricy, but I think Repairwear Laser Focus is a product that works. I would pay for this myself and continue to use it regularly.
Edited to add: I *did* buy this product the last time I went to Ulta where they have a dedicated Clinique section, at least at my store. This product works well for me, and I’ll continue to use it!
