My mom was always into healthy, organic food. When I was little we ate whole wheat bread in a Wonder Bread culture. The whole wheat bread back then had twigs and stems in it. You could have a sandwich and pick your teeth after.
Mom bought yogurt that came in one flavor—plain. Later they improved it greatly with fruit on the bottom. We children rejoiced.
Now I serve my own children yogurt, but it’s so different. There are so many brands, styles and flavors that yogurt gets its own case in the dairy section. It’s not hidden in shame behind the sour cream, like in the old days.
Last week I tried a new kind of Activia yogurt from their new Activia Selects line. Activia Selects has just introduced Parfait, French yogurt, Greek yogurt and French yogurt with fruit on the bottom.
I had the Parfait in strawberry. I love granola and yogurt. I’ll mix my own for breakfast, but for a fast snack I loved the size and portability of this new Activia.
Like so many families, we are busy and need quick, nutritious snacks that keep kids full until mealtime. Have a spoon and you are good to go!
We buy a case of yogurt once a week for nutritious snacking. I’m going to add Activia Selects into the grocery cart more often.
And I won’t have to pick my teeth afterward.
Which of the new Activia Selects looks good to you?
I wrote this review while participating in a campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Dannon Activia Selects Yogurt Series and received a coupon to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
