I love it that ugly, warty pumpkins are available. There is a charm in their imperfection.
We’ve always adopted the runt, picked the run-down house with potential, bought the farmers’ market vegetables that are almost ugly compared to the choices in the grocery store.
I want to be like this–valued despite my flaws.

I knew I liked you.

There are NO imperfect pumpkins in my area. Well, maybe a few BENT ones, but I've never seen one with warts. Maybe that says something about the people around me……..
I am wondering if Melinda S. lives in Hollywood. 😀
Pumpkins are nice! A friend of mine told me today that she couldn't afford to buy a pumpkin to make a jack-o-lantern out of, and so her creative son made a "pumpkin" out of a milk jug he painted. I thought that was AWESOME story of creative ingenuity, and of enjoying having necessity become the mother of invention. When life hands you no pumpkins, dang it, make your own pumpkin-ade anyway!!! 😀
Shut UP. You have no flaws.
Sure I do. Just ask my kids.
I do not know how to skateboard, for one. I do not like most of the Disney channel shows for two. Also, I make them brush their teeth at least once a week.
I like your analogy–valued despite my flaws.
