I love to travel. For fun, I plan imaginary trips using Internet sites. I research hotels, restaurants, and things to do. It’s a little sad, but it keeps me off the streets.
The problem is that I have to use multiple sites to get the best information on where to stay, where to eat and what to do.
When I first heard of Gogobot.com, I thought it was either a game site or dance lessons from a robot. Turns out it is a website that helps you plan your entire trip to some of the most popular locations.
I researched an imaginary :cough cough: trip to one of my favorite cities—Chicago!
For my dream trip, I’d stay at the Hyatt Regency on Wacker Drive. On Gogobot, I can see reviews, lots of pictures, many taken by guests and read the pros and cons of the hotel.
I’d stay there because of the location—it’s close to everything I’d like to see in the city.
If I went to Chicago, I’d have to have real Chicago-style pizza. I’d go to Giordano’s on Rush Street. It’s highly rated by locals, but I’m prepared in advance to wait at least half an hour. I’d probably plan to go early to beat the worst of the dinner rush.
Also, I don’t think I could pass up an opportunity to go to the restaurant of famous chef Rick Bayless—Frontera. I’ve watched Mister Bayless’ shows on PBS for years and would love a chance to try his famous Mexican-influenced cuisine. On Gogobot it’s highly rated and gets great reviews from people who consider themselves picky about their Mexican food.
One of the best features of Gogobot is that you can connect to your friends on social media and benefit from their travel knowledge to help recommend lodgings, restaurants, and attractions.
Gogobot allows you to tap into the knowledge of your friends when planning a trip anywhere. You can find like-minded travelers and inspiration for your next vacation, creating easy-to-use wishlists you can return to again and again.
And when you are not in vacation mode or planning a trip, you can discover hidden gems in your own neighborhood for entertaining guests or a weekend staycation.
The best part? Every page on Gogobot is personalized. You can see reviews from your friends and people you are following at the top, which allows you to weed out the noise and fraudulent reviews that become a problem on other review sites. Check out Gogobot today!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gogobot. The opinions and text are all mine.

Ok, I’m going to have to try Gogobot…but Giordano’s? Really!? You’d do much better to go to Lou Malnati’s, or Pizzeria Uno, or my favorite…Gino’s!! 🙂
Okay, see, this is why I’m going to connect my Gogobot profile to my Facebook, so I can get great feedback like this!
Thanks, Julia!
When you take this *cough* imaginary *cough* trip, I hope Gogobot directs you to my front door for more fine dining and five star accommodations.
You have the best food in the state! Can you make authentic deep dish pizza?
