I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Dunkin’ Donuts. I received a Dunkin’ Donuts Party Kit to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank-you for participating.
One good thing about this cooler spring is that I have been able to enjoy hot coffee longer into the season. Usually by the end of April, it can be what I like to call Full Hot. Once it is Full Hot, if I drink my coffee too late in the morning, it makes me sweaty. This is not a good look for me.
Dunkin’ Donuts sent me a party kit with three kinds of seasonal coffee. These three flavors are available for a limited time, so if something catches your fancy, snap it up when you see it.
I had some of my neighborhood moms over to have a little coffee break and try the new varieties. Hooray for a coffee break while ignoring the kids!
I served the new flavors, Coconut, Triple Berry and Strawberry Shortcake. I learned people have really strong emotions about flavored coffee! Either it’s a thing you like or a thing you don’t like. Who knew coffee is so polarizing?
Once we tried all three varieties, I took a poll. My friends tended to like flavors that were already favorites for them. This is to say, if you already like coconut, then you may fancy the new Dunkin’ Donuts Coconut coffee.
I’m not a berry fan, but the ladies who already liked berries loved the Triple Berry coffee. We found the flavors to be true-to-taste (especially the Coconut) and not overwhelming.
I think the Strawberry Shortcake was the most surprising, I was a little hinky about dessert-flavored coffee, but with a little cream and a little sugar, it was a satisfying treat that I could happily substitute for dessert. Also, I think it would go nicely with brunch.
My husband and I are already fans of Dunkin’ Donut coffee. We like to get DD coffee when we are on the road (one cream, one sugar for me; black for him). I’ve also bought it by the bag before so we can make it at home.
Their whole bean and ground coffees are sold at every Dunkin’ Donuts and I also find it at my grocery store. I prefer the whole beans ground at home for the most authentic DD flavor. It reminds me of the year after high school when I lived in Boston. In Boston, there is a Dunkin’ Donuts (or two) on every corner.
The three seasonal coffee flavors of Strawberry Shortcake, Coconut, and Triple Berry are only available for a limited time at your grocery store—so grab it while you can.
Dunkin’ Donuts included a recipe for iced coffee I didn’t get a chance to make. I look forward to trying it out as the weather warms up to Full Hot. I’m a new convert to iced coffee at home. It’s simple to prepare, but feels so fancy!
Are you a lover of the flavored coffees? Do you have a simple but amazing coffee recipe for me? I thought about using one of the flavored brews as a marinade for a savory dish. I may try that!

The Coconut sounds good! Don’t drink anything but decaf tho. Don’t think I’d particularly like a berry coffee.
Sounds interesting. I have not tried any of these yet. The coconut sounds pretty good.
stopping in from sits 🙂
mocha mint is my absolute favorite and yet so many others I know hate it. The coconut caught my eye.
