The children and pets obviously had a meeting while I was busy. That schedule they have where they take turns giving me gray hair has been revised and they are all scheduled for today.
It seems like this happens when my husband is out of town for work. They must be better when they know a reckoning will happen at 5:15 when Daddy gets home.
This makes me sad because I was certain they were more afraid of me.
I need to up my game. No screen will be safe, no chore left unassigned.
Aaand the cat just threw up behind the couch. At this point I hope someone gets sassy with me so I can assign it as a chore.
What’s that? They’re all asleep? Man.
Travel safely, honey, and enjoy that quite, clean hotel room. Eventually you’ll be home again, like it or not.
And there’s a present for you behind the couch.

LOL! I can remember my mom saying we all melted down when my dad traveled!
Dear Nota,
LOVE the title, Mommy Unravels When Daddy Travels!!! How true that is!
You reminded me of one of my old posts about when the Big Bison went away on his elk hunt to Colorado, and left me at home with a busticated ankle, and all h-e-double hockey sticks broke out, when I couldn't find the chirping noise that was freaking Pillie out, and I set off the burgler alarm/London Blitz air raid siren trying to silence the little chirp. Good times. HA!
Hang in there, Nota. It's always darkest before it gets TRULY black, that's what I say. Because I'm an Encourager!
Melinda, scientists should study this phenomenon.
Susan, bless!
Loved this! My husband is getting ready to go out of town for a conference and I am dreading it!!!
