Even though I homeschool my kids, they still love giving Valentine Cards to their friends and our neighbors and family.
My kids like to draw a picture of me on my card. It’s usually hilarious. One year I was drawn wearing a purple velvet jogging outfit with a headband and long dangly earrings, which is ridiculous because I don’t wear dangly earrings.
Some years we make cards from scratch (we keep it simple) or we buy the cheap little paper cards at the drug store with Sponge Bob or Hello Kitty on them.
I didn’t know there was another option for Valentine’s Day Greeting Cards. The quality printing company Tiny Prints doesn’t only have lovely Christmas cards, business cards and other paper goods—they also make Valentine cards for kids.
I did notice the small size of these cards does mean they can’t be sent through the mail by themselves. You’d have to tuck them into a standard envelope, but that just gives you an excuse to send a letter or a few more pictures or drawings to granny. Grannies like mail.
And remember that how you treat the grannies trains your kids how to treat you when you are the granny. I’m planning way ahead.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I’m prepping my passive-aggressive post-it notes I’ll leave around the house so my husband knows what to get me.
In exchange for this review, I’ll receive some Tiny Prints Valentine cards for my own kids. I’ll let you know what we pick out. Maybe I’ll send you one.

Good thinking on the training your kids to treat their grannies well, so that you’ll get treated well! You take such a long view! It’s smart. Me, I’m just worried about whether or not I should let my kids live to see another day.
I tried to be really thoughtful toward my mother-in-law, but she was a nice lady so it was easy.
I am always thinking ahead. I have my funeral planned. I should probably write that down…
All of them are itty bitty like that? They’re so cute though!
They all seem to be that size. I think it’s a standard size for kids’ cards. I love those little envelopes!
That’s so cute! I love that in 2012 you can get custom-made Valentines! I always just gave out the cheap ones from the store with a candy in them lol
