I’m part of a fun game Crown Royal is hosting with mom bloggers and sports bloggers. Each weekday, Crown Royal send a blogger a photo of a mystery gift. The gift is in the iconic Crown Royal purple bag with a clue on the outside.
Today is my day! Here is my gift bag clue.
Hmm, the obvious guess would be something for the kitchen. A guess with a bit of a stretch would be something beach related. What could it be?
I have until 4 p.m. ET today to decide. I can either keep this gift and “open” it. I’ll get one to keep and ONE TO GIVE AWAY!
Here are the other bloggers and the gifts they’ve already opened:
Yesterday, Lushworthy opened two gorgeous champagne coolers. Nice, but no iPad mini!
If you want to win with me, leave me a comment below letting my know whether you think I should OPEN THIS GIFT or STEAL SOMEONE ELSE’S!
Crown Royal is a traditional Christmas gift in my family. I just like the purple bags. They match the ones under my eyes.
If you like the embroidery work on my Crown Royal bag, you can customize your own Crown Royal bag in 40 characters at www.CrownRoyal.com for $9.95 if you are 21 or over. It’s the perfect way to keep it short and sweet.
Or, you can personalize a Crown Royal label for free. That’s nice, too.
I’d love it if you’d tweet about this promotion using the #PassTheCrown hashtag and my twitter name @notasupermom. The blogger with the most hashtag participation have the final gift selection. I think that’s the key to keeping the iPad mini!
Most importantly out of this whole thing: for every #PassTheCrown tweet, a U.S. soldier overseas receives a Crown Royal gift bag through the Crown Royal Heroes Project. What better and easier way to show support for our troops than through a quick hashtag? Don’t you feel patriotic just thinking about it?
So. action items:
Leave me a comment on whether I should steal or open.
Tweet (you can use the convenient tweet button at the top of this post.) about this with both #PassTheCrown and @notasupermom in your tweet or Facebook post.
Each time you share on social media, leave me a link in the comments. You can tweet and Facebook once a day until the giveaway is over in December.
When the contest ends, I’ll randomly select a winner, so make sure I haw a way of contacting you! Winner must be over 21 and live in the United States.
Thanks, and good luck!

Steal! It’s better to give than receive! 😀
I’m not sure I understand. How do you win the iPad mini?
Ginger, I could steal one of the already opened gifts. Like Yankee Swap/Dirty Santa.
I don’t cook. I just eat. If my husband was playing this game, he’d say keep it as he thinks kitchen gadgets are pretty nifty. But he’s not, so I say PASS and steal something else.
Go for the mini iPad. Yours might be a beach vacation but it might be. Kindle Fire…
A Viking Range? A collection of Tabasco Hot Sauces? A Big Green Egg? Hmmmm. What to do, what to do……..
I vote Steal!
I’d feel too guilty to steal. I’d open what you have!
Oh, open it and have fun with it! And give me the other one!! 🙂
I’d pass and hold out for the mini pad. I wondered if it were a bottle of suncreen.
I vote steal 🙂
Normally, I’m against stealing. But. Desperate times, what, what.
I tweeted again, and I wanted you to know that the first blue ribbon I ever won in a pie baking contest was a Crown Royal bag, turned upside down and tied with a tassel. I couldn’t have been more proud.
i’d open it. 🙂
I’d say stealing would be more fun but I’d probably just open it.
If you steal the iPad, you know someone else will just steal it from you.. I say stick with what you got.
You’re right! The only way to get the iPad for sure is to get the final steal by getting the hash tag tweeted the most.
What is in the gift bags for the troops? I will be happy to tweet it once a day.
I will ask. I hope it’s nice!
I’d keep it because I’d feel guilty stealing and be worried I’d end up with something worse. I’d never make it on Let’s Make a Deal. I remember my granddad always saying go for it to the people on game shows, his theory was you came with nothing the worst you can do is leave with nothing 🙂 So you can be like me and keep it, or steal it and take my granddad’s advice 😉
Retweeted you again, babe. Pass me that crown!
