I’ve talked about Giftbirdy.com before. It’s a secure website that lets kids make a gift wish list that’s easy to send to family and friends.
This is the perfect time for making a wish list for granny before she goes shopping for ugly Christmas sweater on Black Friday. Your child can pick the perfect presents and email them from a secure site. Grandma can purchase through Giftbirdy.com’s partner Amazon, one of the most trusted names in on-line shopping.
Read why the founders of Giftbirdy.com started the site:
We created Giftbirdy in response to constant queries from our (very sweet) parents as to what they might gift their grandchildren for birthdays and holidays.
At the same time, we were receiving emailed lists of desired gifts from our kids.
Throw in years of battling frenzied crowds, no parking signs and depleted brick-and-mortar stores, seeing well-intended gifts unwrapped then never used and an enduring struggle to get kids to write thank-you notes, and the opportunity for a better way became obvious.
We hope that Giftbirdy will be a helpful and enriching tool that makes your lives easier and more fun.
I’m not a big fan of telling people what to buy you as a gift, but some relatives really don’t know what to get kids. This is the perfect solution for relatives stymied by present picking.
I have four adorable little nieces. You’d think that after being a mom of four, two of them girls, I’d know what to buy for Christmas.
I’m surprised how quickly I’ve forgotten what pre-schoolers like. Is Dora the Explorer still cool? What’s their favorite princess? I’m woefully out of date on my princess info.
So, I’ll ask my brother and sister-in-law to help their kids make Giftbirdy lists for me. (Turns out, these girls like Vikings as much as they like princesses!)
Here’s the front page of Giftbirdy.com:
Giftbirdy is fun and free to use. Kids can play the on-line games to earn feathers. Feathers can be used to purchase adorable little virtual pets.
Giftbirdy is safe and secure. Feel safe when making purchases through Amazon. Also know that Giftbirdy makes every effort to ensure the site remains a safe place for your kids.
Giftbirdy has no ads. This is a rarity. There are few shopping sites or game sites for kids that don’t have embedded ads flashing in your kid’s face the whole time.
