This is a sponsored post. I am a Shop Your Way blogger and all opinions are my own.
My mom always gave the best advice. Always keep a dime in your bra during a date in case you need to call someone on a payphone to pick you up. Only put your first initial in the phone book listing so perverts didn’t call your home phone. Keep a thermos of water in your car’s trunk in case your radiator overheated.
All good advice for 1985, but not so helpful today. Now Mom is so busy with her jeet kune do classes or planning her next Red Hat Society trip to the Native American casinos that I have to search elsewhere for quality advice.
Let’s say I’m a mama koala looking for the best bicycle for my children. I could type that into a search engine, but that will give me too much information that’s not really going to help me while I’m standing in a store looking at five specific joey-ready bikes.
Luckily, Sears and the Shop Your Way program has the expert shopping help you need while your mother is busy tinkering on her Harley—the Get Advice feature on shopyourway.com on line, or through the Shop Your Way app on your mobile device.
Get Advice lets you post a question that will tap into the collective wealth of product knowledge from the many Sears associates all over the country.
Which Sony camera has the touch-screen features you need? How often does that particular fridge need to have the water filter changed? Does the piece from the Kardashian Kollection you saw on the E! Network come sized to fit marsupials? Sears associates and the community of Sears shoppers on Shop Your Way can help.
Once you’re a member of Shop Your Way, you can post a question about a product and crowd source an answer from real live experts. Members can also upvote the most helpful responses.
If your question has already been asked, the answer will pop up as you type. If it doesn’t just follow the instructions to finish posting your question. Then Sears employees from across the land will leap into action to respond to your query.
Now whatever your shopping need, Sears and Shop Your Way have you covered!

I never knew about the Sears Shop Your Way program! This is pretty cool. I like the idea about getting advice from them. I have to admit though–I laughed about your mom’s comment— the dime in the bra. I remember those days!!!!!
